Strategy
Ironline Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironline Command drops the base-building bloat and focuses on movement. You command a small convoy and have to decide which routes to defend when you can't cover them all. That scarcity is the whole game, and it makes every choice feel heavy.
The touch controls surprised us. Drag to reroute, long-press to set an ambush, pinch to see the full map. It never felt cramped, which is rare for strategy on a phone. The AI plays dirty in the best way, probing weak spots the moment you overcommit.
Campaign missions are bite-sized, perfect for a commute, but the skirmish mode is where the hours vanish. A deeper tutorial would help newcomers, because the opening throws a lot at you fast.
What we liked
- Decision-heavy, light on busywork
- Genuinely good touch controls
- Skirmish mode with real replay value
